COACHING IS ESSENTIAL: Farrell's is simple, but not easy. The first 10 weeks is challenging and a huge adjustment for many people. To make sure you are successful with the program, we will pair you up with other members, coaches and instructors who will encourage you and help you persevere. Compassion is essential.
COMMITMENT: We are committed to your success and dedicated to helping you reach your greatest potential.
KEEP IT SIMPLE: Complicated things rarely last. Simple practices can be formed into natural habits. We use methods that are easily understood. We eat. We drink (water). We sleep (enough). We exercise.
STAY GROUNDED: We were created by God, and God created the food we (should) eat. Natural food is not readily available all the time so meal replacements can help supplement our nutrition. It is important to read labels to eat as healthy as possible understanding fundamental nutritional concepts.
LISTEN TO YOUR BODY: Sometimes we need to relearn how to listen to our bodies. Who said three meals a day was the way to live? Why do small children naturally eat small portions about every three hours? This how we were designed: If we’re hungry, we need to eat. If we’re tired, we need to sleep. If we’re sore, we need to rest. If we can’t do another rep, we need to stop.
COMMUNITY IS KEY: Going to a gym by yourself is boring. Having a workout buddy can help. Having a personal trainer is better. Having a team of like-minded individuals with the same goal is the best. We are community focused on the same goals: Supporting each other to achieve our best results.
HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT: The Farrell's atmosphere is like a family in the healthiest sense. Appropriate language, clothing and hygiene are paramount and enforced. Keeping our facilities safe and clean is our priority.
CONSISTENT: Consistency, consistency, consistency. In the wise words of Lao-tzu: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
