10 Week Challenge FAQ's

We routinely field numerous questions from people who are interested in our program, so we've provided answers to the most common questions here.  Of course, if this list doesn't answer your questions, please feel free to call or email us!

  1. What promotions are you running for the xxx session?
    We communicate upcoming discounts through this webpage, our facebook page and Constant Contact emails.
     
  2. Do I have to sign up for a specific class time?  What if I have a crazy schedule and can't go to the same time every day?
    When you sign up for the 10-week challenge, we have you select a "primary" class time and strongly encourage you to attend that class time Mon-Fri (Saturday class times are more flexible).  However, if you occasionally can't attend your primary time, please don't skip working out! You can jump into another class time that day.  We have primary class assignments to drive good attendance habits, plus your coach will most likely be in the same class time.  So, it will be easier to connect with your coach and teammates each day.
     
  3. What if I have a work trip/vacation planned during the 10-week session?
    Perfect attendance, while a worthy goal, is very difficult to achieve.  Most people have stuff that comes up during the session and they miss a few days here and there.  In fact, most of our winners do not have perfect attendance.  We provide students with alternative workouts they can do while on the road and we sell resistance bands, which travel well!
     
  4. I like to run/bike/lift heavy weights/etc, can I still do those activities and the 10-week Challenge?
    Of course!  If you enjoy exercising outside the club, we certainly aren't going to discourage you.  However, we encourage people to exercise with moderation so their body has time to recover between FXB workouts.
     
  5. What happens if I get sick/injured/pregnant/etc. and can't finish the Challenge?
    Our policy allows for these situations.  We can prorate you for a future session (certain exceptions may apply).  Please feel free to call with specific or unique concerns.
     
  6. Do I have to do the 10-week Challenge?  Why can't I just join at any time?
    Everyone must complete the Challenge to become eligible for FIT membership. We start every 10-week session with the basics on both kickboxing and strength training.  We focus heavily on form the first few weeks of every session in order to maximize effectiveness of every exercise and minimize injuries (to the extent possible).  In this manner, students see more rapid progress.
     
  7. I have a bad {insert body part here}.  Can I do this program?
    We have countless students who have previous or current injuries. Whether it's a bad knee, foot, back, or shoulder, we can help you work with your specific physical challenge and still get great results.  

     
  8. What happens after the 10 week?
    You are then eligible for what is called a FIT membership. This gives you unlimited access to all the classes and additional services (i.e. coaching, nutrition, etc.) at a la carte pricing. There are 3 FIT membership payment options with the Month-to-Month running $79/month or with a 12 Month Agreement it's $59/month.
